An airy blanket – neutral colors, crocheted in acrylic so it’s warm and soft on skin.
Yarn: Loops & Threads Snuggly Wuggly, 100% acrylic, 3 different colors
1 skein (5 oz. / 141 g, 446 yd. / 408 m) Dove Grey
1 skein (5 oz. / 141 g, 446 yd. / 408 m) Soft Grey
2 skein (5 oz. / 141 g, 446 yd. / 408 m) Soft Yellow
Aunt’s Lydia White Mercerized cotton – crochet string size 10, almost 100 yds
Crochet Hook: 6.5 mm for the blanket, 5 mm for the border
Pattern: half double crochet throughout. Use the cotton string mixed with the main color to add interest – can be in the yellow for a more discreet look or in the greys.
Size: you can make it as long and wide as you want, mine uses 20 hdc rows for every color and is about 1.50 m long and 1 m wide. The border is about 6 cm.
